With a record attendance of over 2,500 freight forwarding executives, the WCA Conference was an incredibly busy three-day gathering with intensive one-to-one business meetings, alongside a number of social networking activities. As sponsors of the Business Centre, our brand had plenty of exposure on its large island booth right in the centre of the hall.
This year, with the conference ending on Valentine’s Day, Charles Kendall held a ‘Find your Perfect Partner’ Valentine’s themed photo booth and prize draw, as a fun attraction and ice breaker. After a successful few days in Singapore, two of the team flew out to Thailand to attend the 2017 Centrolene AGM in Bangkok. They were speakers at the Centrolene event, giving an hour long presentation on change in the industry covering diverse topics from e-commerce and project freight, to re-labelling and value-added services in the Middle East and USA. All of the Charles Kendall team did a fantastic job networking with fellow agents, making both events a huge success.
