Freight forwarding division, Charles Kendall Freight, continue to gain industry recognition by winning Organisation of the Year at the 2019 Global Freight Awards.
Charles Kendall Freight continue to gain industry recognition across a range of supply chain services. At a glittering evening ceremony at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, they were delighted to be announced as the winners of the award for Organisation of the Year beating CMA CGM, Dimerco, Flexport. Maersk, Unsworth and Whale Logistics. They were also proud to be finalist in two other categories; Specialist Freight and Service Innovation.
The prestigious industry event is hosted annually by Informa’s Maritime Intelligence and the well-renowned industry journal Lloyds Loading List.
Director of Global Trade, Ian Jenkins accepted the award on stage next to the sponsor WNS and evening host comedian Tom Allen (pictured left). Ian commented,
“Winning this award underscores the reputation and wide scope of services offered by our global freight forwarding division. It is a great achievement for the innovation, passion and dedication shown by so many Charles Kendall Freight employees in service to our customers.”
In attendance on the night with Ian, were a cross section of staff from Operations, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, HR and IT as well as some colleagues from London HQ.
