Charles Kendall Freight lead discussion at World of Freight Expo
Charles Kendall's Ian Jenkins was the lead speaker on the impact of Brexit.
Earlier this month Charles Kendall Freight's Global Trade Director, Ian Jenkins, led a discussion at the inaugural World of Freight (WOF) Expo in Bratislava. Ian was joined by senior representatives from throughout the industry to discuss the topic of "BREXIT and What does it mean for the European Trade?"
Despite the challenges Brexit poses to the freight industry, the message of the discussion remained optimistic. Ian and the panel were keen to stress that our industry will have a critical role to play in the coming years as a vehicle for facilitating frictionless trade throughout Europe and the UK.
WOF Expo was launched to connect businesses and introduce them to new possibilities within the Central & Eastern Europe region. This "New Europe" region presents massive opportunities for the freight industry, and we are delighted to have played a part in making its launch a success.
