Charles Kendall Freight are West London’s Logistics Business of the Year
West London Business said CKF was "known for their expertise, reliability and exacting standards."
We’re proud to report that Charles Kendall Freight have won Logistics Business of the Year at the West London Business Awards for the second year running!
The awards showcase business excellence in West London, an area that is second only to the City in economic importance to the capital. The ceremony was a little different this year since it couldn’t be held in-person, but there was still plenty of entertainment provided over Zoom.
CKF won because of how we reacted to both Brexit and Covid last year, seeing these challenging times not just as difficulties to be endured but opportunities to capitalise on.
The Judges said that CKF showed “a clear Brexit strategy giving them the confidence to take on additional employees” and that “finding this clarity of vision around opportunity, in an otherwise uncertain climate, is a rare talent.” They noted that our clear communication to customers about the impact of Brexit, investment in staff, and agile shift in strategy in response to the pandemic were why we deserved to take the top spot once again.
As if this wasn’t enough, CKF were also Highly Commended in the Export / International Business of the Year category, a testament to just how impressed the judges were with our performance last year.
2020 was a difficult year for our industry, so it’s great to see the hard work of everyone at Charles Kendall Freight continuing to be recognised.
